Science: Tigers
Tigers are big cats with orange fur and black stripes.
HISTORY:
Tigers are carnivores, witch means they only eat meat. They eat deer, pigs, buffalo, antelope, sloth, bear, dog, leopard, crocodile, monkey, python, hares, and, if old or hurt, humans and domestic farm animals. 3 types of tigers are extinct, South China tigers are extinct in the wild, and the rest are endangerd.
There are only 3,000-4,500 tigers left in the world.
FACTS:
Tigers are great swimmers, and love the water. They are mostly nocturnal, meaning they mainly hunt at night. Tigers' black stripes help camouflage in the jungle and forest. Tigers live a solitary life till mating season. Like bears, the mother takes care of them on her own, and fights off hungry males.
