Sorry I'm late to do my weekly science. I was sick. Anyway I did get information about lions.

LOOKS:

A lion's fur can be black, white, or most commonly, gold. Male lions have a ring of fur on their neck called a mane. A mane makes it harder for an enemy to bite the neck.

PRIDE LIFE:

Lions live in groups called prides. In a pride male lions fight and pretect the pride while females hunt.

Cubs are also called lionets or whelps. A lioness might babysit cubs while the other lioness hunts.

FACTS:

A lion's roar can be heard from 8km away. Lions are carnivores and hunt gazelle, zebras, and wildebeests. Lions can go 4-5 days without water.
